I bought a packet of green tea on a whim (of course) and tried a cup… the coffee-lover me said, “Not bad… proceed!”
But blogging and blog hopping turned the tea cold and the next sip was rather sour…
Shaking my head thrice to be precise I realized this was not the right way of drinking green tea
Since nobody was around to be asked, I asked my dear QWERTY-pal Google. She introduced me to her BFF WikiHow who had an answer right away in 5 steps :
- Invite a friend or two to come to your house to drink a cup of green tea.
- Brew the tea before your friend arrives to your house. After brewing, pour the tea into two cups, one for your friend and one for you.
- Invite your friend to sit on one chair, and give him or her tea.
- Chat with him or her and sip your tea sip by sip.
- After you’ve drunk 25% of your tea, pour a little more hot water into your tea. Take out the tea leaves and put in new ones.
It immediately reminded me of how to put an elephant into a refrigerator in 3 steps :
- Open the refrigerator
- Put the elephant in
- Close the door
And then, I thought of putting a giraffe in it too but in 4 steps? How?
- Open the refrigerator
- Take the elephant out
- Put the giraffe in
- Close the door
So tell me folks, who was missing from the jungle meet called by the lion and the monkey today

Hehe @the childhoon joke of elephant and giraffe
Poor giraffe, and elephant couldn’t attend the jungle meet because they were locked up in the fridge
One of them right, not both, it was not a double door or extra large refrigerator to accommodate both of them at the same time
Piyu is first again
wow Piyu

I love the elephant, giraffe, and the rest of the animals joke…still remember how hard it would make me laugh…
Not a fan of green tea or any tea for that matter…too much of a coffee lover and addict…
The coffee lover in me never lets me go into the tea section… But this time, there was a packet of green tea in the coffee section, the brain directed the hand to take it on a whim
oh yes, at a recent cousins gathering all these old jokes were dusted out, asked and enjoyed again
I like the pic, do u have the elephant teapot thing?
Oh, I like Green tea! And also all the other cool sounding and actually good tasting Camomile, lemongrass and all!
Same here. I love all those teas + my fav, jasmine tea

Ash:
I love green tea and that is what I drink everyday.
Wish I was close by. You would have invited me and like geishas we would have poured green tea from wee cups into our mouths.
Love you lots.
Joy and peace,
Susan

I absolutely loved this teapot, it is not mine unfortunately though! I wish.
And I was pleasantly surprised to get an image this quaint when I typed in elephant tea
I tried green tea at my daughter’s place and did not like it very much. It was so much recommended by my daughter that I pretended to like it ‘cos it sounded outdated to speak the truth and ask for my regular tea. My daughter guessed anyway and assured me that with time i would develop a taste for green tea too.
Hey Padma,
I love this green tea, or rather it would be right to say I used to love it a few years back. There was this one Chinese Restaurant in Hyd that served green tea as a pre-starter for free with every meal… and a group of 4 of us friends used to be there almost every other day just to drink the tea because we fell in love with it
Otherwise, I’m a coffee person, no time for tea!
Methodology to drink green tea is very scientific.
Is it, I thought there wasn’t any hard scientific evidence though research is going on…
Tea coffee are out for me..but I love the Elephant tea pot
That one elephant tea pot has become a hit with all of us
That was a sarcastic remark

Oh yeah…Green tea – we need to get used to that taste…It takes time.
But I can manage a cup without any probs now.
So, am on the way to a healthier diet…
LOL…of course, the elephant and the giraffe couldnt attend the meeting…

Considering that I had to scoot off midway to check the meaning of QWERTY, I wonder indeed, what would we have done without our ‘dear QWERTY-pal Google’??
It seems hard to believe that Google entered our lives only since 1998… it seems forever, for a life time
A new category: the Google Addicts
lol at the steps
I had tasted herbal tea once and it was wonderful!
ya.. I couldn’t resist by blog about the google knowledge
