Review: Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol

Mission Impossible turned out to be good. Period. We as a group enjoyed watching it. Period. Anil Kapoor was bad, or was he good I can’t say.  Period. His character was slimy; now does that mean he acted well therefore, the entire theater went ewwwwwww with disgust! Possible. Exclamation!! let there be two. The Indian part was horrible, there was a dance; It was pathetic! The typical stereotyped India, the richer India for a change!

However, we enjoyed the movie, reiterate I enjoyed the movie. Period.

The impossible-ness of the actions were a little too much! Yes… toooooo much is the only tag line I can think of! You’ll say it too when you see the stunts. And less of action, now that’s not what we expect from MI do we…

Nevertheless, we were into the movie, and the director called the interval. We, the audience did not want one, it was so gripping, but not that gripping – fast- super speed – edge of the seat action- you know what I mean!

Verdict :)

  1. Mmmmmm… not bad at all… still… I can’t put my finger on what I liked in the movie… there was something about it… that gave it a feel good feeling :) Is it the best of all the 4 MIs, I beg to differ… sophisticated definitely, but a slackness…there was something which does not make it 10 on 10. Sorry fans!
  2. One thing I’m absolutely sure about is that the India part was horrible, I tell you… and Anil Kapoor, reminded of his role in what is the name of that movie, Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta as his suspicious wife who taunts the maid servant not to wear blouses with windows… Fardeen Khan, Salman Khan is the flirt… ohohohoho .. I can remember each and every scene, Bipasha Basu too.. amnesia strikes!
  3. Therefore, the verdict is temporarily suspended.. However, watch it, it is after all Mission Impossible Part 4 :P Tom Cruise, Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and for the Indian audience our dear Anil Kapoor ;)
  4. Mission Impossible quadrilogy (all four) available at Flipkart.  Make the pleasure yours
